Connecting the Trigg Radio and Transponder to Dynon

Hi all - how easy is it to connect the Dynon HDX to a Trigg TY91 radio and a TT21 Transponder so that I can input radio and squawk frequencies using the dynon touch screen rather than fiddle with the knobs? Can it be done? I know the radio frequency can be displayed but can you push the frequency from the Dynon to the unit and similarly with the transponder? Many thanks Graham

I installed TT21 and TY91 last year in conjunction with my HDX.

Connecting the TY91 was easy, it’s all in the installation manual. Refer also to the TY91 installation manual.

I found I couldn’t connect the TT21 as it had no serial output/input pins.

And yes the Dynon pushes the frequency over, it’s much easier to enter frequencies using the Dynon.
