We are planning to install dual Dynon D-10A displays in our RV-10 - Pilot & Co-pilot. How closely will the displays be with respect to airspeed and altitude readouts if each instrument is operated independently of the other. We believe that the redundancy is desirable for instrument flying, but are interested to know if the instruments can be calibrated to agree with each other.

You will find the two EFIS-D10As follow each other extremely closely as long as they are both on the same pitot and static lines. We have very exacting calibration standards, so two units leaving the building should be very close together in attitude as well as pressure data.
