I am installing the above system and have two questions.
[1] I have two EDC's. The D-180 EDC has the OAT. If I use the D-100 as Busmaster will it use the OAT connected thru the D-180 EDC? ( I am using all three GP inputs for Trim)
[2] I have AOA connected to both units. Will I have to perform calibration on both the D-100 and D-180 seperately (DSAB off) so that AOA works on either should either or DSAB fail?
Thanks,
John

1) No. In normal operation, only the busmaster's EDC and OAT (if hooked to the EDC) are used. You could just swap the 9 pin connectors and reconfigure DSAB to have the D100's EDC have the OAT and be busmaster.
2) Yes. Minus the magnetometer, all other primary flight instruments are always sourced from their own internal ADAHRS.

You don't have to turn DSAB off to do the calibration though. Going through the menu always calibrates the local EDC, even if DSAB is active.
