Hi

Fairly technical question... What voltage range is the PC interface using for the RS-232 comms? 0V to 5V, or 12V to -12V?

It's standard RS-232, which is roughly -6 to +6 Vdc in practice.

The problem with RS-232 is that there are so many implementations of the "standard" that it's impossible to know which one to expect! :-?
