D-100 updates on older unit

I purchased a RANS S6-S that has the D-100.  It has not been updated in last few years.  My question is what is the easiest way to bring the unit up to the latest software?

Make sure you have a PC or PC laptop available with a serial port (or more likely, equipped with a USB-to-Serial converter since most computers have laptops. Then grab the latest Dynon support program from downloads.dynonavionics.com. The Help button from within the program has full instructions on how to actually perform the update.
