I am rounding up material to install the AOA in my D-180, but have not yet opened up the airplane (no minor task) and want to know
what the diameter and pitch size of the connector that attaches to the AOA input on the D-180. A manufacturer's number for the proper connector would be even nicer if someone can supply it...perhaps the Dynon moderator can give me the information...thanks a lot.

Per page 4-14 of the D180's latest manual (Rev H), in the Connecting Static and Pitot Lines section, it's a 1/8" NPT connection. There are a variety of way connect from that to your pitot/static lines, including nylon fittings with barbs for plastic lines, or you can go the full AN route and use AN fittings. Spruce has a variety of fittings to do the job, and http://www.safeair1.com/averytools/pitotstaticplumbingkit.php has been popular with our customers as well.

thanks....yes that is the right size...I took the plane apart and was able to use a fitting that I happened to have on hand...my incorrect recollection was that the AOA input was something different...(its hell to get old !)

Thanks...all is well...I appreciate the response.
