I am retro-fitting my Q-200 with a FlightDEK D180 and an ICOM A210 radio.  I will be using my old Garmin GPSMap196.

The ICOM has a feature that allows a feed from the GPS to pull the 10 closest tower frequencies .  I would like to use this feature, if I can pull it off.

More important is using the GPS data to send to the FlightDEK.

Is it possible to share this data with both the 196 and the D180?

Thanks.

I don't believe the 196 sends out the frequencies you are talking about, so I don't think it will work. I believe that's only on the 296, 396, 496.

In any case, this doesn't involve the Dynon equipment at all. Take the serial wire out of the 196 and split it two ways. Run one to the Dynon D-180 and one to the A210. They will both listen to what the 196 sends out and do what they can with it.
