Same problem here with a D1.
Worked fine for a couple of years, but now wanders once in a while. Sometimes works okay, sometimes not.
I bought a D2, which works fine in the same mount.
I flashed the D1 a couple of times. It worked for awhile each time, but now won't flash and again, sometimes works and sometimes not.
I hope I can fix the D1, and use it as a backup for my wife's side of the panel.

Bruce:

It sounds like one of the inertial sensors in your D1 has drifted out of spec and the D1 requires repair. Please contact Technical Support - 425-402-0433 or support at dynonavionics dot com to arrange for a Return Material Authorization (RMA).

Email sent.
I found the invoice. It was 1/29/13, so I just made the 3 year warranty period?

I also have a new Dynon D2, 32 days old via Aircraft Spruce and it just developed white lines across the top.
Also included that in my email asking for support, today.
See picture attached.

The D1 and D2 have a 1 year warranty - see the Dynon Avionics Warranty page towards the bottom of the chart.
