Hello. About to close on a aircraft equipped with a D10. Can I eventually add autopilot to this unit?  Average cost for 2 axis servos? Thx, DM

Short answer is yes. The roll and pitch servos with mounting kits are currently $825/each. That's all you need but you would probably want to buy the AP74 autopilot control ($450) for much more versitility. Look at the products page for the D10, at the bottom is a link to frequently asked questions. Enjoy.

Actually, if drmax actually means he has a D10 and not a D10A, then the autopilot cannot be used with that product.

The EFIS-D10A supports the autopilot, and as mentioned, servos are $750 each and mounting kits are about $75.

The EFIS-D10, which we haven't manufactured since 2004, does not support the autopilot. We do offer an upgrade from the D10 to the D10A, which would be about $1400, and then you could add servos to that. Give us a call for more details.

If what you have is an EMS-D10 (engine monitor) then that cannot control an autopilot at all.
