D10 upgrade to D10A?

Hi,

I have an ancient D10 unit (at least that what it says on the unit's label) and I was wondering if it's possible to update it to a D10A? Is it just a matter of updating it with the latest D10A software?

I had to send mine in to Dynon to be modified and there was a charge to convert it to a 10A.

Dynon hasn't been able to repair the EFIS-D10s for quite a long time now. Dynon has also discontinued the EFIS-D10 to EFIS-D10A upgrade program several years ago.

If you have an EFIS-D10 that requires service, what Dynon offers is that your EFIS-D10 can be traded-in for a 50% discount (on their list price) on either a new EFIS-D6 or a new EFIS-D10A.

Call their Technical Support folks to arrange for the trade-in.
