Hi, I have a D100 EFIS, Ap74 autopilot and a Garmin 796 GPS. The HDG and altitude mode is working fine, except the GPS NAV mode of the autopilot, it looks like the GPS is no communicating with the D100 and AP74. I've already tried many solutions discussed here, but the problem still, no comunication at all, it only says that the HS34 is not connected... thanks! (sorry for English ;D)

Since you do not have an AP74, the menu item that is relevant here is the EFIS SERIAL line under "LOCAL DATA PORT". What is that set to? Also, where do you have your serial output going from the 796?

Sorry, I meant HS34. The top two serial ports are configurations for the HS34 (if you had one). Since you don't, it's the local EFIS serial port that is relevant.

Hi, this is how "Local data port" is set, both auto, I tried to change this option to test if it will work but not succeed, I changed the options in Garmin Aera too, but no way it work, it looks like a broken cable or something.
