D100 Connect to GPS

Is it possible to connect the D100 to a Bendix King Skymap ore can D100 only connect to Garmin GPS.. Can it connect to any gaps for to get calculate winds aloft to evaluate best cruising altitude. Addionally, discrete crosswind component information.

You can connect it to most GPS units. We support the NMEA-0183 and aviation formats. Most GPS units put out one or the other.

The Skymap doesn't work 100% right now because the output is a little weird, but we have one at our facility now and it will work with the 4.0 software that should be out shortly.

I believe it currently works for winds and crosswind, it just doesn't work for the CDI indication on the HSI.
