D100/EDMS120

I can not get the two instruments to interphase. Can I get a split screen on the EDMS ( same as D100)? I have downloaded the 4.2 update on the EDMS120, but the D100 does not accept the download.I have the instruments coupled to the SL30. The D100 does not seem to get info from the EDMS. What could I do to rectify?

You have to get both units on version 4.2 for them to communicate. So that's your first challenge.

Once updated to 4.2, they talk in a newer way than they did in 3.0. They use the DSAB pair of wires, not the serial connection. Once you have them wired, you need to go into the setup menu on the EFIS and choose DSAB setup, then configure.

You should download the latest install manuals from our web site and follow the connection diagrams and instructions in there.
