I have a D100 installed in my MCR-01 (Ban-Bi), based in UK.   Excellent equipment, no problems until Sat when, on boot, the display came up in greyscale, horizon bar swinging randomly, a/s and asi tapes cycling rapidly between zero and full scale.

2 warning messages appear:  1 "Attitude Indeterminate" and 2 "Internal Battery Error"

The unit failed to boot on several successive occasions with same symptoms.  Unit last flown in May without fault and last booted correctly about 1 week ago for ground check, nothing out of the ordinary noted at that time.  Aircraft has not been moved since, no evidence of physical damage.  Main bus voltage 13.2V.

Unit s/n 1545, running Ver 3 software.

Original internal battery still installed, unit generally left with keep alive power to its breaker from main a/c batt.

Any advice appreciated, unit is removed from a/c pending probable despatch to you guys, hope you can help.
Regards,

Version 3 is pretty old. I'd first suggest you upgrade to 5.1.1, because it can't hurt. Given the symptoms, though, I suspect we may need to take a look at your unit.

Hi,

Have tried to call to find out about my D-100, under RMA # 6612. Can't get an answer on the phone, can someone give me an update and likely return date for the unit, please?
Kind regards,

Nigel B
