D100 power supply switch question

I'm installing a D100 and the instructions mention using a switched power supply.  The supply is from a 3 amp fuse from the endurance bus.  The e-bus is powered by the master switch.  Is this sufficient for a switch power supply or does the typical installation use a separate toggle switch for the EFIS?

A seperate switch for the EFIS is not necessary. though some choose to include one just the same. Our units' power supplies are designed to be able to handle engine startup while powered on.
