D100 went inverted

I have had my D100 for about 2 years. Recently, I made a major change on my airplane, so the D100 wasn't turned on for at least 90 days. After the major change on the plane, I went flying.

In the middle of the flight, the attitude display showed the brown on top and blue on bottom. I didn't notice when this change happened during the flight, but it stayed that way for the remainder of the flight. Once I landed, I turned it off and back on and the correct attitude was then displayed.
Also, the magnetic heading was off by 90 degrees sometimes.

I did not recalibrate the unit after it had been off for 90 days or so. Could the AI issue and the DG heading be related. I feel they are separate issues, but that's just my guess.

My magnometer is probably 2 feet from my battery in the rear fuselage. Ground tests of heading did not show fluctuations when the battery was on.

The attitude indication can conceivably affect the heading indication, but the heading can not affect the attitude. While you were flying with the "inverted" display, did it behave "normally" other than the inversion? Regardless, you should give our support team a call at 425-402-0433 or support at dynonavionics dot com for some further assistance.

Well, I had someone else flying the plane after the major alterations, and that was a squawk once he landed. I may make a few more flights to gather more data.
