Today, when attempting to configure the fuel level sensors, I discovered that the case of the D1000 was very hot to the touch. The fans do not appear to be working either. I suspect that this may require a return, but wanted to know if there are any ‘quick’ fixes -.I.e. can I replace the fans myself, etc. thanks in advance for any assistance. FYI - the D700 does not have the same problem.
