D10a airspeed

Has anyone ever displayed airspeed on a d10a and also a regular ASI both connected to the same Pitot? The airspeed numbers are getting a little small for this 77 year old especially on approach.
My guess is it should work but I am not sure.

It's done for pretty well every installation in the UK as we HAVE to have a minimum of ASI, Altimeter and magnetic compass in addition to an EFIS.

Most people achieve this by T'ing the ASI and static lines between the steam gauges and the EFIS.

Very few people, if any, install separate pitots and/or static vents for the different gauges.
