On my last flight the altimeter malfunctioned - giving constant -1200 ft. indication. ASI normal. Able to set baro but did not affect display. Also unable to clear G meter indications or left side data. Haven't touched anything as far as software upgrades and unit has functioned fine for quite some time. Any ideas for correction?

That sounds like your altitude sensor broke somehow. -1200 ft is the lowest we will display.

You probably need to send us an email or give us a call so we can get your unit fixed.

I have sent the unit back to Dynon - it should be repaired later this week and I will post an update.

My unit was problematic to repair, requiring multiple component replacements. As of this morning it had not completed burn-in testing.  In the end I paid $200 to have a refurbished unit sent to me (so that I can reinstall in time for a trip next week). Normally there is no charge for the refurb exchange but apparently my unit had some cosmetic scarring that would require replacement of the display before it could be placed in the refurb pool after repair.
