I have a strange phenomena on my 4 year old D10A
Fault Symptoms:
The unit clock is slow.
Setting the countdown or count up timer to one minute, it takes 6 minutes and 52 seconds to reach zero.
Temperature Unstable warning on power up every time.
The serial bus to the D10A was used to update the software to version 5.......but when a confirmed gps signal is applied it is not seen by the Dynon D10A. There is no doubt the GPS feed is on and active as it also supplies the Trio Autopilot and the Flowscan fuel flow. The wiring had been substituted.
Today
1. Reloaded version 5
2. Confirmed the keep alive wire not used and not present.]
3. Removed the unit from the aircraft.
4. Removed the internal battery.
5. reconnected unit to external 12V source ........symptoms unchanged
6. ran unit on internal battery .............symptoms unchanged.
I am working through the problem with Dynon Support but wondered if any else has experienced anything similar.
The unit, prior to this, had been powered down for about 6 months.
The unit has performed flawlessly for over 4 years up to this time.
