I purchased two D10As, S/Ns 7899 and 7900, in April of this year (2020).
They have been on the bench as I build up other parts of my system. They have been powered up numerous times (as recently as yesterday) and have worked correctly each time, displaying all expected data from the various system elements: DSAB data from the magnetometer/OAT, AP74, and HS34, serial data from the SL30, and ARINC data from the 430W.
Starting today the second unit, S/N 7900, does not correctly start. The blue Dynon screen appears for 3 seconds, then goes black for 2 seconds, then the cycle repeats. The first unit starts normally on the same bus, showing 12.5 volts ship's power and 16.2 volts on the standby battery.
Upon disconnecting the problem unit S/N 7900 and trying to start it on the internal battery, it exhibits the same behavior, but only once (no repeats). I tested the internal battery with an external voltmeter. It reads 16.25 volts. Version 5.6.1 has been in effect on all elements since they were acquired.
