D10A flickers off and on

I recently upgraded my D10A with newest firmware.
Since that upgrade, which was completed without a hitch, my D10A will out of the blue, at no regular interval flicker off and back on. When it first flickers off, the screen goes black, like the unit is off, then the blue Dynon logo appears and the screen display appears back as though nothing happened.
The screen has stayed black for as long as 2 - 4 seconds, and as short as off & on.
Sometimes it does it only once, and thats all, sometimes it flickers off and on a couple times.
It does however seem to "go away". It has happened on engine start-up, after start up, and once in flight in level cruise.
This NEVER happened before. It only started happening since I installed the newest firmware version.
Is this unique to me?, problem with the firmware?, any thoughts???

Hi,

We haven't heard of this before. It may be a hardware problem that started around the same time as the upgrade, or possibly a harness problem as well.

One way to confirm that it's firmware related - if you made a backup of your old firmware before you upgraded (always recommended), you can try reverting to that backup to see if that changes things.

Also, do check and make sure the harness is intact. Since you do touch wires on the EFIS harness while doing a firmware upgrade, it could be that something is now intermittent or shorting out.

Dynon .... I also have a little Problem with my D100. I have it since 6 weeks. Everything work very well, also the firmware upgrade.
But Sometime the right Button have no function! So I can´t get out from the menue with the "Back" or "Exit" Button. It´s impossible! I have to power down with the Avionic Master. It´s not possible to power down with the Left Button, because a can´t get out from the menue!
A few minutes later everything works well.
It appears 4 or 5 times - I will observe this Problem - have you any Idea?

We haven't seen or heard of the problem of getting stuck in a menu before. We'll sure keep an eye out for it!

Is it happening in a specific screen or menu?

Does it appear that any of the buttons are getting "stuck" down? The same problem could occur if the unit thought one button was being held down.

Dynon ... I don´t know that it happened in a specific screen or menu - I will try to find out!
It seems as you say, that the unit think one button is holding down. But it´s always the right Button, so I can do nothing! I can´t get out from the menu, and I can´t power down before I get out from the menu. I have to turn off the Avionic Master! After turning on again, last time the same Problem occurs. After the second time powering down and restart it works well again ?!
