Hello to all,

I have to install a new D10A (without backup battery) and noticed that there is no yellow cable (keep alive) wired on the wiring harness that came with it.
We would like to keep the clock working. Should I wire a cable directly from the battery to pin number 2 on the DB25?

The only thing keep alive does, without the internal battery installed, is keep the time correct when master is off. So you can connect it or not - it's up to you. If you have a GPS signal coming in over the serial port, though, it will set Zulu time every time a GPS sattelite lock is obtained.
