In addition to dual SkyView displays I'm running my D10A connected to an HS34 which is connected via ARINC to a Garmin GNC300XL. This gives me an EFIS Backup to the Skyview and a nice HSI driven by the 300XL. For some reason the DSAB is dropping the HS34 out of the network on a seemingly random basis. If I reconfigure it sometimes comes back. If I turn the D10A off and reconfigure it always comes back...for awhile. This is happening with the airplane static so I know it isn't a vibration issue and a loose connection. Any thoughts?

I recently had a similar issue with DSAB - turned out to be a dsub socket not pushed in fully home.

Wiring is always suspicious in these cases, but it could conceivably be either of the components. There's not trivial way to test which, so give us a call to troubleshoot further if you can't find anything awry with a either of the connectors/wires.
