Just wondering if a "fix" is available for this issue. I have a D10A recently installed, running the latest version firmware (it was upgraded prior to the first flight). During its first flight, I noticed the Air Speed indication on the D10A to under-read my old style back up ASI by about 10 kts at all speed ranges.

Referring at the trouble shooting section of the install manual, I conducted the CALSPD function to ZERO the airspeed. I tried that twice and the problem was not rectified. Today I tried to reset the the CALSPD function back to factory defaults but this did not work either :(

The source for both instruments come from the same pitot source and Im at a lose on what to do. Has anyone run into something like this before.

Many thanks

We have seen this before, and 90% of the time, it's not us, it's the other instrument. We do a full calibration on every unit at the factory and I think we've seen it be wrong only once or twice out of 8,000 units.

You really need to hook a known pressure source to your system and find out which instrument is wrong.

Also, make sure they are both in the same units. If the mechanical gauge is MPH and we're in KTS, we'll look slow.
