Hi,
thanks for the quick answer, just a few days ago (fuel flow)! :)
I have to configure my instrument-panel, decided to install a D120, but did not get an answer for this question: is the "superbright"-option necessary in an open cockpit biplane or not? I will have direct sunlight on teh display, also from the backside.
My experimental is a Steen Skybolt.

Thanks in advance and kind regards,

I have a closed-cockpit, high-wing aircraft with skylights, not the worst case scenario. I upgraded from standard to "super bright" screens and have been happy--I was not entirely happy with the brightness of the standard screens.

I would say, for your Skybolt, the bright screens are the way to go.
