D180 trim position display

The narrow, rather tall, rectangle that displays the trim setting has a green line where the trim is set....there is also two white-colored 'arrow head' indicators on each side of the rectangle that on my D180, not yet calibrated, merely moves up and down at a fairly rapid rate. What are these two 'arrow heads' intended to mean?

The green line is your nuetral trim or where ever you want it to be....the arrows are where your trim is set.

Or at least I think thats what mine do :-/ ;D
