Not sure if the manual speaks to this or not, I am tired of reading. Is it acceptable to have the Dynon (D180) up during engine start ? The Dynon is our only tach/oil press gauge.
It's designed specifically so it can be left on during engine crank. If you have the internal battery, it'll take over during the moment the voltage dips. If not, the unit might reboot, but it won't cause damage.
