Hello, I just got a D2 the horizon seems to work fine, only ground tested so far, but the g-meter screen shows +2g not +1g at rest.
The meter moves with upwards and downwards acceleration and if you turn the unit upside down it registers 0g not -1g

Its like the unit has been calibrated wrongly, but I can find no way to re set it.

will it have to be returned?

cheers, Russell

We definitely don't like to hear that, and yes, it does sound like something is up with the calibration. If you haven't already been in touch with our support team, please do give them a call at 425-402-0433 or an email at support at dynonavionics dot com.

Hi folks, greetings from South Africa!

I have exactly the same issue with my D2; reads +2g at rest, even after checking firmware and resetting the unit.

Being outside of the US, do you have any suggestions?

(PS: I will drop the support guys an email)

Regards

Unfortunately, there isn't a calibration routine for this. Sorry for the trouble, but we'll ultimately need to have you work with our support team to get this resolved.
