A very minor request...it would be nice to have a way to add "Data Marks" to the log file so that you can read them into Excel or some other tool and get quickly to areas of interest without having to scroll and read the data until you find the part with the interesting data.

Just another field with a numeric or even boolean mark, which can be inserted by pressing one of the buttons...so before flying a maneuver or adjusting some engine setting or whatever, you "mark" it.

You CAN do this, if you use an external button. Hook it to an unused input on the EMS, and set that input as a contact. You do not need to display it anywhere on the screen. Now, that contact input will be logged, and it will read 5 when not pushed and 0 when pushed, so it's easy to find.

We considered the "internal" version of this, but *another* button in the UI was a problem, and we put this in the D100/D10 datalogging and felt nobody used it so it wasn't a strong requirement.
