Database expired

Finally got my RV-7A up for a first time and I noticed the expired database massage. I was displaying the PFD, engine and MFD on the screen. The message was covering the MFD making it useless. I am not sure if there is a way around it. If not there should be prompt to remove it.

Push the MAP button then the ACCEPT button. That will clear the message for the duration of that power cycle.
