Database expired

Finally got my RV-7A up for a first time and I noticed the expired database massage. I was displaying the PFD, engine and MFD on the screen. The message was covering the MFD making it useless. I am not sure if there is a way around it. If not there should be prompt to remove it. :)

Push the MAP button then the ACCEPT button. That will clear the message for the duration of that power cycle.

Or if it's a touch screen, just touch the message to acknowledge it.
