I scoured the list already looking for an answer, but found none.  I have a question about what I am going to do about my panel since the QB fuselage for my RV-7A is ordered and its time to spend real money.

This is the direction I am leaning for my EFIS/GPS/AutoPilot:

DEK-180 and D100 (linked)
Garmin GNS430
Trio Avionics Auto Pilot.

I know the DEK180 will take GPS data from the Garmin (hoping it will take the NAV data too) and I know the Trio will take data from the Garmin but is it possible to get the data to both at the same time :question

It would seem kind of lame for me to be able use the CDI/GS/HSI feature of the DEK-180 and not be able to have my Auto Pilot to fly my GPS or NAV course as well.

I guess I am wondering if you can pig-tail the GPS signal and ground from the Garmin into both the DEK-180 and the AutoPilot :question

Thanks,

Scott

Scott, you can split the wire from the GPS and run it to both the EFIS and the AP. Almost any serial wire can be split and run to up to 4 devices.
