Delay in detection

First timer with a question. Just recieved a new SportCrusier with Dynon 100/120. The 100 has quit a delay in recognizing each other. The message is EMS cannot detect. After 5+ minites it finaly recognize and works just fine. Is this delay part of a problem? Thanks

That's odd - it's certainly a problem, but not one we've really seen. What version of firmware is on each unit? (SETUP>VRSION in the menu system). Also, does it do this every startup, or just every now and then.

Thank you for responding. My version is 4.2.0. I hope it was clear that both the 100 and 120 individually come right up. It just does not share information with each other for about 5 minutes.

Try performing a DSAB configuration immediately after turning the units on, when they're in the bad state. Does the EFIS detect the EMS?

Niether EMS or EFIS detect one another. Not sure what a DSAB is but will look it up.
