det ”Do not connect” DB37

Hello

Wounder why it says Do not connect on pin nr. 1 on DB37. On DB 25 its primary Power. Why?
is it enought with one ore what.

Can you also ekplain "5 V excitation circuit side: 2-3" did not understand this...

On the FlightDEK-D180, those pins on the 37 pin connectors are not used. Power is instead gotten through the primary, or EFIS-side, harness. On the EMS-D120, those same pins are are power and ground, and that is why there are wires on those pins.

The 5V excitation line is a voltage generated by the EMS for certain sensor connections. Keep reading through the installation manual and you'll see it's used from time to time.
