I have noticed that I can only set the IAS bug to a certain level that is about 1.6 Vs which is probably because the auto pilot will fly this speed and needs a little margin. That is fine and I really like the IAS hold feature for climb and descent. The airplane will climb right on Vy all the way to altitude which is one of the features that makes this a very desirable and advanced autopilot.

I would like to be able to set a mark on the IAS tape at 1.3 Vs for landing. This would only need to be an indication (similar to Vx, Vy etc) and not a setting for the IAS bug. It would be fine if this value were set on the setup page in the same way the other values (Vx, Vy, Vne) are set as I do not expect it to change much. It gives a nice cross check of the AOA indication in the pattern.

Neat idea. If you weren't using your Va today, you could use that one as a hack. But I think one of our hundreds of feature requests is something like "arbitrary V numbers", so we'd definitely like to see it too.

I like the idea of the 'arbitrary V numbers'. Vref as the OP suggested. Vz if you wish to climb and/or cruise at Carson Speed. I am sure others will have some interesting uses for their mission as well. Glad to hear they are on the list for possible future features.
