DME showing only dashes

If the DME is inop and showing only dashes, what equipment should I look for and how would I troubleshoot it? Thanks for the help.

Which Dynon product are you displaying DME on? What kind of DME receiver do you have?

Dynon doesn't make DME equipment, but some of our products can display it from an external DME receiver.
