I need to make a few changes to the EMS widgets on my 20 % screen. Is there any documentation available that explains the settings/parameters for the various widgets in the .dfg file. I would also be interested in documentation for the map settings in the same file.

There isn't at the moment. Right now, that's a "power user" feature that requires some experimentation to learn. Just remember to keep a clean copy of your original exported settings to get back to where you started in case you change something to a value that you really don't like (ie break things).

We try and make things in the file as clear as possible, but you do need to experiment a bit. It has over 5,000 lines and probably 1,000 unique settings, so keeping that fully documented is quite a task.

Maybe someone wants to start a user wiki on our site? http://wiki.dynonavionics.com/Main_Page#Next_Generation

We can try and do our best to answer specific questions.

Thanks Murray. Just what I was looking for. One question though. You write that the Y-coordinate is measured from the top of the screen. In my setup it appears it´s measured from the bottom.

mmarien,

I was thinking of trying to set the params= parameter in the defaults section of the .dfg file. I like to use the thin arcs with the thickness param=0. I'm thinking I could add the three params values to the default secion? Thus you would be able to scroll through the different thicknesses you set up when changing gauges. Have you tried this?

lalnaes. You're right, the Y coordinate is from the bottom. I'll amend that.

Richard. I haven't tried anything in the default section. That would be great if we could scroll through the arc thicknesses. If you find anything out there let us know. I might try some stuff there when I get a chance.
