I bought and installed a remote magnetomer in my wing but I am probably 2 years away from buying the rest of the avionics. I wondered if it would be possible to connect power to the magnetomer and look at the RS-232 communications over the network cable? Does Dynon publish details on how devices communicate over the network?

For what it's worth, it's RS485-based, not RS232. But regardless, we do not currently have a published specification for SkyView Network communciations.
