downloading 2.6

While preparing to download 2.6 I noted the warning regarding installing av faa data 2.6 but since I have only one SV sreen, thought that it didn't apply.
Consequently I downloaded and installed Skyview 2.6 and found that some of my map data was now missing (airports). So can I now download and install both av_data_faa_2.6_1011.dup and  ob_data_faa_2.6_1005.dup and will that correct the problem? Do I also have to reinstall Skyview -2.6 update?

The aviation and obstacle data needs to be updated on any SkyView screen that's updated to 2.6. Note that those files get loaded individually, after the 2.6 update, so just go grab them, put them on the stick, and load them, and you're doing exactly the same thing you would've done if you'd downloaded them at the same time as the update. No need to reinstall 2.6. So you're fine, basically. Also, click the link at the top of the download page to show the full Firmware Installation Instructions - it gives you a complete step-by-step that you should find helpful.
