I have been having problems downloading flight data. At times the data has been truncated or missing. Today I realized what I was doing wrong, and perhaps it may save someone else some trouble.
When I download the data, the screen comes up with the statement that the download is complete. At that time, pulling the memory stick will truncate the download. You have to wait until the led on the memory stick stops flashing. I didn't notice this until I downloaded in a dark place and saw the flash.
Would be nice if the screen didn't say download complete until it was completely written to the stick.
