I'm retrofitting a Skyview into a Glastar with circa 2002 stuff. I've got a old Navaid wing leveler that can fly a GPS track but am going to need 4800 baud 8,N,1 GPRMB and GPRMC sentences out from the skyview to drive it. (yes I'm planning on you being the only GPS). Is that on the list for the mapping module because I really don't want to add a garmin to the panel and enter goto on both systems just for that.

Thing is we have lots of spare serial ports on the skyview, and the new code need to support this is a couple dozen lines or less.  Just gimme a SkyView SDK....   ;)

I'd like to add this is not a one off piece of code to support one piece of obsolete hardware it's how virtually all AP's are coupled to GPS's (but I suspect you already knew that).

NMEA output for SkyView is planned, but we don't have a firm date or release when it will be available.

Good enough for me! I'm cutting the new panel tomorrow and there will be no hole for a Garmin. :)

Thanks,
