Finally have everything hooked up - an EFIS D10A, EMS D10, and an HS34.  I put power to each component and updated the firmware to the latest version.

Once everything was updated, I powered everything up together.  The HS34 adjust baro, etc.  Everything lights up & looks happy.  Then the HS34's lights go out - and mostly stay out with the exception of a rare blink.

I tried re configuraing the DSAB bus a number of times.  Now the HS34 stays on, but the EFIS claims it can't see it.  See the EMS just fine.

Things worked briefly.  For a few seconds I was able to adjust baro, elt, heading...

Any guesses or suggestions?

If it's ONLY the HS34 that loses connection, the problem is likely to be there. As a general troubleshooting step, though, you might try disconnecting various pieces of equipment from DSAB to see if that makes a difference. If you have JUST the D10A and HS34 connected, does it still act up?

Well, the EMS D10 and EFIS D10a seem to be allright talking to each other. Seems the HS34 is ill.

Guess I'll send it in for repair.

Saro:

Before sending in your HS34, please contact our Technical Support group to set up a Return Material Authorization (RMA) in advance - phone 425-402-0433 or email support at dynonavionics dot com.
