Dual Alternator Amp Readout on EMS120

I am installing a B&C standby alternator on my -6A -- the alternators will not be "on" at the same time. I will use a GRT hall effect sensor on the standby, just like I do now on my primary alternator -- readout is on my EMS120. Two questions: 1. Can I "parallel" my hall effect sensors into the amp pins on the EMS120 to keep my amp readout, and 2. or, can I just run the output of the standby alternator through the same hall effect sensor I have now. Remember, the alternators will not be "on" at the same time.

Thanks for the help --

You cannot parallel the outputs of the hall effect sensors without some active electronics.

You can run two wires through a hall effect sensor to get the sum of them.
