dual magnatometers

Hello,

I'm installing a D-100 and a D-180.

Can two magnatometers be installed right next to eachother?

Can one magnatometer drive both boxes at the same time?

Two magnetometers can be mounted next to or on top of one another.

If you connect to only one EFIS, this EFIS can share the mag with the other one over DSAB. If that compass or the primary EFIS fails, you will lose the compass on both EFIS devices. There is no redundancy with this setup.
