Your instructions say to splice serial wires from dual skyviews to each other.  Then as I attach serial devices I have to select which Skyview serial channel to splice those additional wires to.  How do you recommend making all these splices?  Do you offer any Hub device for 10 serial wires (TX and RX x 5) plus another 10 from 5 serial devices?  I'm confused at this point.
Also, even though some producers show shielded wire for these connections, you do not.  Are we ok without shielding as long as I use twisted wires?

I'm connecting
1. Your Transponder
2. GPS250
3. GTN750 GPS(to Skyview Serial RX only)
4. VPX
5. ADSB (future).

What about my SL40, GTN750 serial in/outs?  I only have 5 skyview channels...

Thanks.  :'(

If you have a GTN750, it should be connecting via the ARINC-429 module. That way SkyView receives both it's NAV and GPS information, including flight plans and such. With that connection in place you wouldn't use one of SkyView's serial ports. That frees up a port for your SL40.

As for the wiring, to use the VP-X as an example. You want the VP-X serial transmit line to go to SkyView serial port 4 receive on both SkyView displays. Similarly, you want the VP-X serial receive line to go to SkyView serial port transmit on both displays. We don't have a hub for these wires - you'll need to splice them manually.

There is a hub for this.  The AXIS-25A from makerplane.org
