DYNON COM 8.33 with RX permanent

Hi,

Once again, I need advices in order to set my Skyview installation:

One of my DYNON COM 8.33 display RX continuously: very noisy when there is no transmission.  I tried to set squelch level in set up menu, but without succes. So, I swapped the COM1 with COM2 and RX followed the swap. I could say the issue comes from COM. Other com works well whatever the location is. (RH ou LH)

Any idea?

Just want to ask the obvious. The top knob opens the squelch. You tried pushing that to turn the squelch off???

After a good WE, I investigated further this morning. I have found what was the responsible: the lamp above my instrument panel and close antennas was creating RX permanent with heavy blow in headset. If I switch off the lamp, the noise disappears in less than 1 minute....

To answer to rtairey, yes I had tried to play with squelch button but without noticeable effect.
