Dynon heading is not accurate.

I've had my Dynon for quite a while but my first flight wasn't until Memorial Day of this year. I'm seeing a very odd problem. Look at these pictures:

I was flying directly toward the waypoint in both pictures. The Dynon is showing CRS, TRK, and GPS all essentially the same. The thing is, see the huge difference between the magnetic heading and the ground track? This is causing the Dynon to think that there is a huge crosswind when there isn't. I've calibrated the Dynon on a compass rose already and did the inclination and magnetic field set up as well.

I'm thinking there is a problem with my remote compass. Thoughts?

Definitely a compass issue, though whether it is the actual EDC is not a slam dunk (and in our experience is pretty rare - ie, shipping you another one is unlikely to fix it). Leading causes include:

-Ferrous metal, magnetized screws/fasteners, or power in the vicinity of the EDC
-Not using the right numbers for the Inlination and TOTAL intensity (the former number should be between 50-70 in the US, the latter in the tens of thousands. Make sure you get the total field and not just the horizontal or vertical component
-Getting these numbers right after realizing they're wrong, but then not re-doing the calibrations. Those numbers only matter DURING the actual calibration routine, which is when they need to be right.

I found that the compass swings 30+ degrees between canopy open and canopy closed. Time to recal with the canopy closed!
