Dynon NAV/Comm??

Now that Trig is selling the very nice TX-56A, it would be great for Dynon to offer a SkyView intergrated version (just like you did for the Dynon Comm).

For an IFR panel this would be a perfect addition to a GNC-355 GPS TSO navigator, along with being less expensive and more user friendly than the clunky GTN-650.

What say you Dynon?

Does, (or can), the Trig 56A interface with Skyview using one serial port on standard Garmin SL-30 protocol?

The guys at the Oshkosh Trig booth say yes. But - I suggest a better solution would be a remote mounted NAV/Comm with a NAV/Comm head, just like the Dynon radio.

Yeah, I am leaning towards a MGL Razor head and remote Nav Com receivers, hooked into a Skyview serial port using the SL30 protocol.

Be wary of what you may get. Right now the Skyview will only display the frequency from a second com radio, not control it or transfer frequencies, even with Dynon radios. Even if you get a nav/com frequency to display, that display may be all you get, and that's really not much.
