dynon power use

my battery keeps discharging and I understand dynons use power while off? does anyone have any advice on this..

If you have the "Keep Alive" wire (Pin #2, yellow wire) connected, then the Dynon EMS will use power from your main battery to keep the clock circuit alive. But this is a trivial amount of current and should not discharge your main battery. Dynon Service Bulletin 120109 (http://www.dynonavionics.com/docs/support_bulletin_120109.html) recommends that the Keep Alive wire be disconnected on all Dynon units.

My battery is a (NEW)small motorcycle type 10 amps, and seems to go flat after around 7 days

Again, have you confirmed that the keep alive wire is NOT connected?
