Dynon Trade In Values

I have been very happy with my Dynon products.  I am reviewing the Skyview and determining my options.

I currently have the EFIS D10A, EMS-D10, HS34, AP74, Remote Compass (with AOT probe) and the two AP servos.

I understand that Dynon will exchange 50% for the value of the EFIS-D10A, and the EMS-D10.  Will you also provide an exchange for the HS34, AP74 and Remote Compass (with AOT probe)?

I will of course keep the servos for the use with the Skyview    

Can you make me a deal!! If you cannot, it may make more sense to sell the package as a whole to a willing customer.   Tim

Yes on the HS34 and AP74, and no on the remote compass. We will have a few stipulations, such that a similar configuration is required. For example, a currently dual screened set-up will have to be upgraded to a dual screen SkyView if you want credit for both screens.  We'll publish the whole deal along with SkyView prices in early November.

Sounds like they are saying essentially 1 for 1 (one efis for one efis), but also accepting some accessories.

Don't get too disappointed - you can also sell what they don't accept. Odds are good that you can even get better than 1/2 list price. In any event, the difference will likely be minimal.

Keep in mind that we haven't finalized the policy yet, so there may be some combinations that we'll tweak to cover as many reasonable scenarios that we can. Can't say for sure how your exact combination will shake out. We're trying to balance a simple, clear policy, help out as many customers as we can, and at the same time have a system that isn't easy to game.

I have already seen one person on line in a another site asking if a Dynon owner want's to sell his D100. So I know once the word really gets out on the upgrades there will be buyers of current systems for more than the 50% return offered.

Unless you have a very odd request (I want to trade 14 D100's for a 7" SkyView), the trade in will be 50% of the current price of any screen you have today.
